Toyota filed recall 26V341 for 81,893 selected Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with a specific 12.3-inch combination meter. A startup fault can leave areas of the display blank and prevent required warnings—including engine-oil pressure, coolant-temperature and electrical-charge indicators—from appearing when an underlying condition occurs.
The filing covers certain 2024 Lexus GX, 2025 Lexus UX Hybrid, 2024 Toyota Mirai and 2024–2025 Land Cruiser Hybrid vehicles. Inclusion is determined by equipment and VIN, not by model name alone.
Why this became a delivery issue
Toyota's dealer communication instructed stores not to deliver affected new vehicles until the remedy was completed. That converts a technical campaign into a sales, inventory and compliance control: an open deal and a physically ready unit are not enough to authorize delivery.
The cross-department workflow
Managers should require a fresh campaign check at desking, contracting and final release. Service must promptly return completed remedy status to the system used by sales. Inventory teams should separate affected VINs without representing that every example of a named model is under recall.
Customer-facing copy should explain that the missing display information creates the risk; it should not imply the vehicle has already suffered the underlying oil-pressure, temperature or electrical condition.
Stop-sale status can change for repaired VINs. The current Toyota dealer system remains controlling for delivery decisions.
